"ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
An extraordinary read. So little is known of the Etruscans. Ms. Burgundy has pulled off a nearly impossible feat. The story of Larth/Larthia is unpredictable and heart wrenching. As Mary Renault is to the Greeks, as Steven Saylor is to the Romans, Pauline Gedge to the Egyptians, Ursurla K. LeGuin to the early Latins/Trojans, and Mika Walteri to all of the above…so I believe Rosalind Burgundy is a 'scribe' for the mysterious Etruscans. This is Historical fiction at its finest. A pearl of a story that I hope more people will discover and enjoy."

"Traveling in Italy gave me hints of the ancient world of the Etruscans. But, I was totally unprepared for the depth of the culture that Rosalind Burgundy unveiled in Odyssey of an Etruscan Noblewoman. The challenges the characters faced were vividly drawn. The story was so exciting that I read it quickly, and then reread parts over and over. Well done! On to Ms. Burgundy's next book."

“Odyssey of an Etruscan Noblewoman is a wonderful narrative with realistic characters, filled with excitement and surprises to satisfy any reader. It is indeed a well-written book.”

“Odyssey is a book that draws the reader in immediately and takes them deeper and deeper into life of early Italy, the people, and their rituals. Through Burgundy's creation of Larthia, we are treated to a unique experience of a noblewoman's trials and triumphs despite much adversity. This book would go well with a feast fit for a king (or princess!), goblets of wine, and an occasional cold wind blowing.”

“...is a universal tale of a woman's strengths, weaknesses, and will to survive—that is as timely today as it was centuries ago during an era historically dominated by the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans.”

— Charles K. South, Palm Beach, FL

“Rosalind Burgundy has created a fascinating character in Larthia the noblewoman, almost a female Indiana Jones for all the trouble she gets into, but all woman in the way she deals with them. From one chapter to the next, the reader never knows what to expect.”

— RC, Twain Harte, CA

“The author's passion for Etruscan history has led her on a mysterious and very personal journey back in time. Odyssey of an Etruscan Noblewoman reveals Ms Burgundy's true inner self as she leads the reader onto her fantastic adventure and into the heart and soul of her character. A niche book that will go mainsteam!”

— M. Kadin, Cape Cod, MA

“Got Odyssey of an Etruscan Noblewoman on Friday. Finished it Saturday. It's delightful!”

— M. Jorgensen, Dacula, GA

“A great job of developing characters and language, and weaving the flavor of historical fact—very well done!”

— Ed Scalone, Woodbridge, CT

“…in the tradition of Homer and Candide—enjoyable.”

— Audrey K., Southhampton, NY

“A real page-turner! I couldn't wait to see how Larthia would deal with each new dilemma she faced, and in each case, it was cleverly and unexpectedly. An exciting read. Along the way, the author includes tidbits of Etruscan, Roman, Greek, and Egyptian cultures so that you learn about them almost without realizing it. I wholeheartedly recommend this book!”

— E.R., Palm Beach, FL

“The reader knows that this writer knows what she's talking about. In the midst of reading; on page 152. Very, very good. Keep getting the thought that it's too bad this isn't in Italian. I think they would love reading their history. Two days later—just finished Call Forth the Flood. Keep wanting to find what happens next. Three days later—finished. It's great!”

— Tom M. Smith, Twain Harte, CA

“Just finished ready Odyssey of an Etruscan Noblewoman. Rosalind Burgundy must have put a tremendous amount of time researching the Etruscans! Her detailed descriptions are magnificent! Her writing style is different from anything I've ever read! Like she lived every moment herself. Well, I guess she did! And it ended sweetly leaving one with a fine sense of beauty.”

— Angela Renzi, Boynton Beach, Florida

“What a marvelous book! Burgundy accomplished the feat of putting the reader in the Mediterranean world of that era. She made each character colorful in his/her own right. She gave the reader adventure, love, real historical fact and a look into diverse cultures. It is a wonderful piece of work. I'm going to her web site to see if her other books are available for sale.”

— M. Stumpf, Phoenix, AZ

“I loved it!”

— Misozi Huddleston, Rome, Italy
